{Anniversary Celebration}

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary and Chat surprised me with a dinner at Brennan's! On September 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike roared through Houston and this wonderful restaurant caught on fire and was burned almost to the ground. Houstonians were devasted to see such a place go. Almost 17 months later, they reopened last night and we got to enjoy it tonight!

With the birth of our son ahead of us in the next two weeks, it was wonderful to spend time together as a couple in this historic restaurant for Houston. Such a special night! Here is a picture of the delicious pralines (well, what was left of them) that the restaurant gave us to celebrate our anniversary...well after we downed the amazing dessert Banana's Foster! I am one lucky girl...
