{NYE: 2014}

NYE was a fun one! With no major plans on the horizon, a friend offered to have us over with the kids and we gladly accepted! Nothing better than having your kids run around and have the best time while we eat, drink and catch up with our adult friends. House parties are quite possibly the best when you have young children.

 

Since the boys are older, we stayed out till about 10:15 pm and had everyone asleep by about 10:45. It was a later, but very fun night! And since this whole holiday season plus a cold this week has exhausted me, here is our night in pictures...

These are absolutely the closest buddies!

And I hope this isn't a glimpse of life for them in high school...

Which just turned into a dance party because we couldn't work the
machine and everyone just fought for the microphone.

I asked to take their picture which in turn they all about faced
and showed me their bottoms (and then laughed hysterically!).

And then it turned into a wrestling match (which was a theme for that evening).

So 2014 is officially over! This year will bring so much change -- a new baby, Luke will start Kindergarten, Chat will graduate from graduate school. So we have a lot to look forward to this year!
