{To Pee in a Cup}
The title says it all, right? At my last OB appointment this past Monday, I went in expecting to do my usual thing. Jump on the scale (yikes!). Get my blood pressure taken. Then pee in a little cup before heading to the exam room (which is never a problem at this point in the game). The nurse handed me the cup and I went to the bathroom. All of a sudden, I started to panic. I couldn't see the cup...at all! It had been a bit harder to hold and aim in the cup in the recent months, but never impossible. Well this time...it was impossible! I started sweating a bit as I tried to get a glimpse of whether or not the cup was under the right...'part'. At the same time, I couldn't help but start hysterically laughing at myself. Since I had just went to the bathroom before I left the house, I didn't have a whole lot to give, so I couldn't just close my eyes and hope for the best. If I missed, I wouldn't have anything else to give! Anyhoo, after a lot of laughing and holding my breath, I was successful. I am not sure what I am going to do in 2 weeks when I have to do it again when I will be 36 weeks pregnant with an even bigger belly!

{Early or Late}
With about 6 weeks left until my 40 week due date, I am always wondering if I will make it to term or go past my due date. I have always had a feeling that I will go late and be pacing the house eagerly trying to go into labor come 41 weeks (God help me!).
Today, Chat and I brought Chloe to an outside bistro and had a smoothie and some iced tea while she sniffed the patio. The weather was beautiful, 75 and clear (gotta love Houston in the winter!). While we were enjoying the weather and some time together, I asked Chat when he thought I would pop this baby out and he responded, "I think we are going to have a March 1st baby." No hesitation, just stated it ever so calmly.
I like his answer. Not too early, but shaving off a few days of being insanely big and huffing about.

{33 Weeks}
I am 33 weeks today! Little one is well over 4 pounds now, probably closer to 5 since he is measuring so ahead. I forwarded the email out to Chat and my family that I get once a week from Baby Center that describes the growth, changes, etc. This is what Chat responded with, "He's rounding third and we're waving him home! Almost there buddy!" When I got the email, it brought tears to my eyes. What a sweetie!!

{Birthing Class}
Chat and I spent the last two days attending a birthing class at the hospital that I plan to deliver. Here are a few things that I learned:
- The nurse who taught the class likes to share way to much about her personal experience regarding delivering her son over 10 years ago. By the way...it was horrific. She told us. 50 times.
- The lady in front of me looked like she was stuck in the early 90's with a perm and a then a strange rat tail as well to end the amazing haircut. Her lipstick color was a whole different subject that topped off her entire look. I. Felt. So. Normal...after getting to know some of the other people in our class that actually procreated.
- Natural childbirth, although I interesting and not completely out of the question, scares the be-jesus out of me.
- Sitting on a blanket with my husband behind me propping me up with pillows and massaging me (in front of 8 other couples) makes me giggle. Maybe it was because he named the wooden massage tool "Carlos" and made it talk to me.
- Viewing a video made in 1980 of 6 couples talking about how marriage changes after a baby comes is way to much to handle at the end of a long class. The haircuts and outfits though were funny enough to make me have to take my 13th bathroom break of the day.
Okay, so I did learn a lot more than just all that! But it was interesting to say the least. I have a lot to think about in regards to giving birth and what I want our 'plan' to be. But for right now, I am too tired, so I am heading off to bed with cervixes dancing in my head!

{3d Images}
We had a fabulous time today looking at our baby! I recommend anyone who is pregnant to do this...it was so much fun!!!
The ultrasound technician said he was quite a big boy, measuring over a week ahead. She said with his measurements she would calculate my due date to be February 26th (versus the current March 5th). What does this mean? Probably nothing! But we might want to plan for a larger baby if he comes around my current due date or for him to arrive a little bit early. She said he is probably weighing in between 3 1/2 and 4 pounds right about now. He is head down, but sunny side up. He was a little shy to show us his manhood (which I am totally OK with!), but he finally worked with us and we definitely got confirmation it was a boy again.
In the pictures you will notice a blob on the left hand side on some of the them...that would be the placenta and it got in the way some of the time. But you can still see him pretty well! The most outstanding feature in all the pictures was his lips. They seem to be quite large so apparently he takes after me (my lips were huge in my baby pictures!). The shape of his face seems more like my hubby's though, so he seems to be a little bit of both of us. He does have hair and more than just peach fuzz, which is different than when the hubby and I were born (we were baldees). The technician said that he doesn't have any cartilage in his nose yet, so the nose might look a little flatter and wider than it will be. The technician also thinks she might have seen a dimple when he smiled as well!

{31 Weeks}
Today (New Years!) I woke up and thought about how I am going to have a baby this year! It is just crazy. I did not think we would be here and so it is so amazing.
