Halloween was a blast this year! The boys were at a great age and they actually wore costumes!!! If you remember, last year they both wore Batman t-shirts since they refused costumes. But this year they were ready! They both originally chose Ninja Turtle costumes, but after a bit, Ben decided he wanted to be Batman (sans mask -- he was not a fan). I got a few pictures of them before we headed out for the night...
Love this one of the two of them!
And of course, round 1 only last about nine minutes before Ben was annoyed by his 'muscles' and wanted to take it off. So he wore it like this for a little bit until I convinced him he would only get candy if he wore it the right way. I know - terrible! But luckily it worked.
We first headed to a neighborhood party. Knowing Ben gets tired pretty quickly, we opted to take the wagon just in case someone was tired of walking. It is crazy to think they both fit in there comfortably at one point. They were so smushed riding in it together this time. But it got the job done! So they bounced on the bounce house and played with lots of kids until it was time to trick or treat.
We met up with cousins Molly and Jack to trick or treat. Are they not so adorable? Even if they aren't smiling -- even though they did smile all night. I loved Molly's headband. She kept it on all night!
Cousin Jack was the cutest owl EVER! I could just eat him up with a spoon. I just love this kiddo!
They all did so well going up to houses and getting candy! They tried to remember the 'thank you!' we practiced days leading up to it. They were just all so happy and enjoying the night!
At one point, the boys stopped and checked out their loot. And their brother's loot. These two are getting so big and I see it more every day. Love them.
It got dark and we headed back home around 8:00 pm to go to Chat's stepdad's house to enjoy their party for a bit. They had a great time! And we stayed out a bit too late. This was Ben the entire ride home. He never really did calm down and pretty much fell asleep in my arms sobbing. But up until that point, he had a ball!
