He is absolutely adorable! :) And we are still trying to figure out the sleeping through the night deal at 2 months...lol
Just saw your question on my blog...otherwise would have answered with my last post! :)
It wasn't easy to get him off the shield. It was a gradual thing. And we are still having trouble occasionally with him latching on my right side. However, what I did was let him suck for about 5 min or so with it on, then took it off and put him right back on that side. I tried to give it enough time to where the shield pulled out my nipple enough to help him latch on until he got a little stronger with his sucking.
It was definitely a process, and we just stopped using it this past Saturday. So, hang in there! He will get better with time :) (dont want to sound like a broken record if you have heard that before...but it is def. true)
Haha, I wish I had some sort of special advise to help you get more sleep. But I don't.
He is precious.
