{This Father's Day...}

This Father's Day isn't about presents or brunch at our house. Unfortunately, it is about thermometers, puke buckets, gatorade and lots and lots of TLC. We have one sick kiddo on our hands and we have spent the weekend with a hot little potato in our arms. Even though we would rather be showering Chat with cards and gifts, he instead is giving Luke a lot of fatherly love. I guess this is really what Father's Day is really all about...

(Don't worry, as soon as this virus gets done wreaking havoc at our house, we have a few things for dad!)

{Oreo Love}

Want to hear a very idiotic idea that will give any mother a panic attack? Give your 15-month-old an oreo for the first time in the car! Here are the results....and this does not show his hands OR the car seat. All I can say is Luke loved the oreo but mama did not like cleaning it up!

{Summer Vacation!}

I have been away from the computer for the past five days because we were at the bay for a little family vacation! Chat, Luke and I went with my family and had a ball. It was great to get away and makes coming home that much sweeter.



Luke loved the beach! When I say loved, I mean LOVED. The boy is clearly a fish and loves the water. He is such a risk-taker, charging the ocean and going straight in. When the waves would make him lose his balance and fall, he would just get up hysterically laughing and smiling and almost egged on to continue out into the water.



It was so fun to see our little man enjoying himself and spend some quality time with my family. It was a truly special few days because it gave me a glimpse of what vacations will be like with our growing family....
